Windshield Repair and Replacement

Your windshield takes a lot of punishment. Every day it’s assaulted with a wide range of debris. Eventually, a projectile will find its way to your windshield. After hitting your windshield just right, it will leave behind a crack or a chip on the glass surface. Damage of this type can usually be repaired by one of our skilled windshield repair technicians, as long as the damage that is caused is not larger than the size of a quarter and doesn’t compromise the structural integrity of the windshield.

Is it safe to drive with a cracked windshield?

If your windshield is damaged, it needs to be assessed by a trained professional. It doesn’t matter how small the windshield crack or chip seems.  There are several different types of cracks and they all have different parameters for repair or replacement.  While the damage may seem harmless on the surface a cracked windshield can actually compromise the structural integrity of your whole automobile.

Damage to the windshield can comprise its strength. If an accident occurs, you’re more likely to be injured from broken glass.  Additionally, windshields provide support to the automobile during rollover accidents. Aside from being unsightly, cracked windshields can also impair your vision and may get you a ticket.
